The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.
SASSA might be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie sassa status and there's no completely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider place made for intervention encounters a sassa status check higher influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tricky with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and boost entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
